Did they shorten Kelly clarkson new song already gone? And why so?
I just got done with look at Kelly clarkson new video for already gone and i noticed that’s not the complete song. why did they do that? Also, i didn’t get what the video what about. Could some please explain these things for me.
Rumor has it, the guy who directed the video made it longer. It had a scene in the end that suggested Kelly died. (If you notice in the video, she has no reflection in the mirror. So, basically, shes a ghost.)
But RCA thought it was "too dark". So they wouldnt let him put it in. So they made him take it out. :/

I love this song! Yeah they did shorten the song for the video because the song is just a bit too long. I have to admit I did not like the video…I wanted a plot within the music video but all they showed was Kelly. I was thinking the instruments floating in the air and playing themselves is symbolic for someone that’s not there…they are gone. I don’t know but I still love the song.

i know that she was really upset and wanted to actually cut it completely because it sounded a lot like beyonce song "halo". so i think by them shortening it and keeping it on the CD, that may have been the compromise
