Hi guys. I’m Dana Ward in Beverly Hills with the story.

So the two contenders in this one are Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce. It’s being said that Clarkson copied Beyonce’s ‘Halo’ in her newly released ‘Already Gone’ track. Right after it hit the airwaves, listeners started blogging about the eery similarities between the two songs, blaming Clarkson for the tune copy. However, Kelly reportedly asked her record label NOT to release ‘Already Gone’ as her next single, but it didn’t listen and now she’s saying none of it is her fault. In fact, she’s apparently pointed the finger at the song’s co-writer, Ryan Tedder from One Republic, because he also worked with Beyonce on ‘Halo’!

So, let’s get down to the nitty gritty and hear the two songs, shall we?

“It was a few months ago, I met Demi Lovato…which all the young people should definitely know, and she’s really good, she can sing her butt off. And I told her I’d get her CD and I already have, so if you want this back I’m already cool and I already have it..or I can pass it on to one of my friends, I’m going to pass it on. You want me to what? Sign it?! Wha-huh? Oh my god I can’t even understand you. It’s almost like you’re speaking German, I can’t…it’s like *gibberish* that was kind of like Japanese, I don’t even know what that was. It was like a mix, I only know english, I only know a little spanish but not enough to brag so I’m gonna shut up. Um, this uh…anyways thank you for the CD, it’s the thought that counts right yeaahh…my moms birthday is coming up, it’s tomorrow so I’ll give her Demi Lovato. She probably doesn’t even…my mom barely listens to me, she’s really into older stuff so I don’t know if she’d listen to Demi Lovato…no offense to Demi Lovato! Anyway I’m going to stop talking about Demi Lovato, how many times do you think I can say Demi Lovato? I don’t know. I appear like I’m an obsessed Demi Lovato fan…Demi Lovato Demi Lovato…I don’t know. Um so this next song I’m going to sing, from Kelly Clarkson’s CD..is uh…I need to start bragging about-promoting myself, I don’t know what the I’m doing. Uh this next song I’m going to sing is from my new album that just came out..All I Ever Wanted…wooo!! You should be buying copies of that, what are you doing? I’m just kidding. This next song anyway is from this last album, and I really love this song, I got to write it with my musicial director Jason, we wrote a bit on my last album and this album together, he’s a great writing partner and our minds just think totally differently so”

What’s going to be on the NEW MOON soundtrack? Clevver has the breakdown right now.

Clevver TV has come to the rescue to fill you in on some dish related to the soundtrack of the upcoming NEW MOON film. I’m Dana Ward.

So it’s old news that Paramore - who dominated the original Twilight soundtrack with anthem-song ‘Decode’ as well as ‘I Caught Myself’ - will NOT be on the film followup’s music playlist. The group itself - or drummer Zac - said that they don’t want to be in EVERY Twilight movie and become known as the vampire house band. However, from what we hear, a lot of Twilight fans are saddened about the band’s decision, especially since the songs’ looming guitar riffs and passionate lyrics perfectly matched up with the movie’s emotion-packed love themes.

Now it seems that possibly taking the place of the more indy-type music of Paramore might be Kelly Clarkson. According to an interview with the pop-singer, Kelly is a huge Twilight fan, actually stating that she’s a NERD Twilight fan. Clarkson reportedly wrote a song called “Empty as I Am” with 2-backup singers BASED ON the NEW MOON book, actually stating that it was the saddest of the saga. The title alone seems like a perfect match for the soundtrack after all thats probably how Bella feels for most of the movie after Edward leaves her. The singer also went on to say that the group created ‘Empty as I Am’ before the film-followup was even looking to make a soundtrack.
